Chairman of Adjara's government Archil Khabadze received representatives of the Japan Association for Trade with Russia and the Newly Independent States, which brings together around 130 companies.

The representatives of 13 of these companies observed Georgia's investment conditions.

During the visit, representatives of Japanese companies inspected the constructed facilities and those under construction in Adjara.
Khabadze informed the guests about Adjara's investment and tourism potential.

"The interest is great," he added. "We informed the Japanese guests about the region, its tourism potential, talked about agriculture, transport and logistics. We can attract several companies for cooperation."

Before their visit to Adjara, a delegation of Japanese businessmen met with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and Economy Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili.
