Georgian Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze believes that Russia will not put an embargo on Georgian products after signing the association agreement with the European Union (EU).

"Russia doesn't intend to put an embargo on Georgian products. And this is a real calculation, since I don't believe that our northern neighbor is interested in destabilization of the situation which is bound to happen if Russia resorts to such radical methods," the foreign minister said.

"The work done in the last year and a half after starting the dialogue with Russia will be analyzed and the further prospects for the trade relations with Russia will be discussed during the technical meeting of experts in Prague," Panjikidze added.
