Georgia needs strong army, president says

Georgia celebrates Tanker's Day on August 10.
Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili appeared to congratulate tankers at a military base in Vaziani (near Tbilisi).
The president stressed that Georgia needs a strong army to ensure peace.
"We are building the army and the country," he said. "We need peace for development. A strong army is required to ensure peace."
Then the award ceremony of distinguished servicemen was held.
