Five Polish climbers have been evacuated from the Tetnuldi top in the Georgian region of Svaneti. Tourists themselves called the rescuers after one of the climbers had fallen.

A woman has been taken to a hospital in Tbilisi.

A search and rescue team, and a helicopter provided by the Border Service were sent to the climbers' location. Relief operation lasted about six hours; the time it took to find the group in the mountains and help the fallen alpinist.

The woman suffered multiple injuries due to the fall.

The Georgian rescuers also went to the mountains of Racha region on Saturday, where Swiss tourists were stuck.
