Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, David Usupashvili together with the parliamentary delegation met with the President of the Norwegian Parliament Omelik Tomesen in Oslo.
The parties discussed the Georgian-Russian relations. In this context, the president of the Norwegian Parliament noted that Georgia has achieved many positive results in different directions.
The conversation involved the processes taking place in Ukraine. The Georgian side expressed hope that the international community will make all efforts so that sanctions against Russia would be conducted as much as possible.
"We hope that you will find the path to the EU, NATO and other organizations of interest to you and Norway will support this way," Tomesen said.
He also inquired about the situation in the conflict regions of Georgia.
