Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy discussed the the European integration of Georgia, the Georgian government press service told Trend.
The two high-ranking officials met at the UN headquarters.
They stressed the importance of the ratification of the document by the EU countries.
Van Rompuy emphasized Georgia's success in the European integration, and said that Georgia has enjoyed a number of provisions of the association agreement since September 1.
This gives hope for its further development, Van Rompuy said.
