Passenger traffic in Georgia's airports has increased by almost 13 percent.
Georgian airports rendered services to about 1.57 million passengers for the first 9 months of 2014, according to the Georgian Civil Aviation Agency.
The figure was some 1.40 million passengers for the same period last year, which is a 12.55 percent increase.
The growth of passenger traffic at the Georgian airports amounted to about 47.29 percent compared to the period for the 9 months of 2012.
In January-September 2014, the Tbilisi International Airport rendered services to 1.21 million passengers. Last year, this figure amounted to 1.10 million passengers, which is an increase of 9.85 percent. Passenger traffic growth amounted to 29.92 percent, compared to the 9 months of 2012.
The amount of passengers, who benefited from Kutaisi International Airport, has increased by 43 percent. Kutaisi airport rendered services to 178,688 passengers for the first 9 months of 2014, said the agency.
