An earthquake measuring 3.3 on the Richter scale occurred in Georgia last night, the seismic monitoring center of the Ilia University said Oct. 16.
The epicenter was a few kilometers from the Oni town (Racha-Lechkhumi region, Western Georgia).
The tremors were slightly felt. No casualties or damage were reported.
The territory of Racha-Lechkhumi region is characterized by high seismic activity.
