Georgia, WB mull cooperation prospects

Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili met with the Vice President of the World Bank for Europe and Central Asia Laura Tuck.

During the meeting the sides discussed issues of cooperation between Georgia and the World Bank, the state of the investment environment and the ongoing economic reforms in the country, the press service of the government of Georgia told Trend Nov.6.

At the meeting, the prime minister thanked the World Bank for the projects in the areas of road construction, municipal infrastructure, agriculture and energy, implemented in the country by the bank.

He said that the government also attaches great importance to the program of the World Bank to support the budget of Georgia as well.
