Georgian Defense Minister Mindia Janelidze met with military attaches of the foreign countries' embassies accredited in Georgia Nov. 11.

The meeting was of exploratory nature. The head of the General Staff, Major-General Vakhtang Kapanadze, his deputy, Colonel Giorgi Kbiltsetshlashvili and other senior officials of the defense ministry attended the meeting.

Janelidze stressed that Georgia's external course is unchanged and the country still seeks to integrate into Euro-Atlantic organizations, the defense ministry told Trend.

The further cooperation was discussed at the meeting.

"The close cooperation with foreign partners contributes to the development of the defense ministry and armed forces," Janelidze said.
