Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili expects the public proposals on the candidacy of the Chairman of the Supreme Court until February 9.
President Margvelashvili made this statement at a press-conference. He also expressed satisfaction with the consultations on this issue.
The second phase started from Jan. 29 till Feb. 9. The president will disclose the candidate's name and introduce his candidacy for the parliamentary approval.
The candidate must obtain at least 76 votes of the MPs. If the candidate is not approved, the process will start again.
