A system of obtaining electronic visas was introduced in Georgia, the Georgian government told Trend.
A web page for obtaining electronic visas started working Feb.2.
Using the new system, tourists and business people entering the country from abroad will be able to obtain Georgian visa without applying to the Consulate of Georgia in these countries.
In case of active Internet connection, it will be possible to receive e-visa anywhere in the world.
The Georgian side said that such a service already successfully operates in Turkey, Azerbaijan, Australia, Vietnam, Singapore, Armenia, Bahrain and other countries.
