A leading British company, BuroHappold Engineering, will be responsible for developing a visionary master planning and development plan study for Georgia’s Black Sea town of Anaklia, which soon will be transformed into a modern, bustling city, Agenda reports.
Anaklia City, a TBC Bank and Conti Group company implementing the construction of the Anaklia Deep Sea Port, signed an agreement with BuroHappold Engineering today.
The British company became the winner of the international tender which was contended for by 20 large, international organisations.
Anaklia City is planned to be developed as a smart city with eco-friendly and green concepts turning it into an economic and business hub in the region.
The master planning and development plan study will be delivered by BuroHappold Engineering in six months.
