Georgia’s revenues from cigarettes export from January through November 2021 amounted to $26 million, which is an increase of 4 percent, compared the same period of 2020, Trend reports via National Statistics Office (Geostat).
TOP-5 importers of cigarettes from Georgia (Jan. through Nov. 2021):
Russia – $11.7 million;
Azerbaijan – $9.3 million;
Iran – $994,110;
Libya – $886,500;
India – $826,480.
Meanwhile, Georgia’s cigarettes import over first 11 months of 2021 totaled $84.6 million, which is an increase of 12.9 percent, compared to the same period of 2020.
TOP-5 exporters of cigarettes to Georgia (Jan. through Nov. 2021):
Ukraine – $64.6 million;
Armenia – $8.7 million;
the UAE – $4.4 million;
Iran – $1.6 million;
Belarus – $1 million.
