BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 27. Kazakhstan plans to transport from 2 up to 3 million tons of oil through the Georgian corridor, Trend reports citing the press office of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
The Vice Prime Minister and the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Levan Davitashvili discussed the importance of joint collaboration with the Special Representative of the President of Kazakhstan Erzhan Kazykhanov. The parties discussed further cooperation in transportation and logistics to increase cargo transportation via the transit corridor. Georgia, for its part, is ready to transport cargo to Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
Furthermore, the parties agreed to work together in the long run to service commodities transit along the transport corridors which pass through Georgia and Kazakhstan, said the press office of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
