BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 13. Georgia recorded a significant increase in the number of visitors traveling from Turkiye in May 2022, Trend reports via Georgian National Tourism Administration.
The number of visitors arriving in Georgia from Turkiye in May 2022 amounted to 60,184 people, which is three times more compared to the same month of 2021 (21,855).
Thus, Turkiye ranked first among the main countries of origin for people arriving in Georgia in May 2022, followed by Russia (51,561), and Armenia (42,606).
Meanwhile, the total number of visitors arriving in Georgia in May 2022 amounted to 359,238 people, which is three times more compared to the same month in 2021 (109,359).
