Foreign Relations Committee of Georgian Parliament offers parliament to ratify Regulation of Organization for Democracy and Economic Development GUAM

The Foreign Relations Committee of Georgian parliament on July 19 supported the ratification project Regulation of Organization for Democracy and Economic Development - GUAM. As it is stated in the conclusion of the committee, this organization was created on May 22-23, 2006 in Kiev by four countries Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Ukraine.

The organization aims to strengthen the democratic values, international and regional security, deepen European integration, etc., the special correspondent of Trend reports.

According to first Georgian deputy foreign minister Valerie Chechelashvili who presented the project to the discussion of the committee, the ratification of the document will allow to accelerate the integration processes and increase the number of the members of the organization within a short time.
