(Civil.ge) - The Georgian Foreign Ministry said on August 1 that the existing formats of negotiations on conflict resolution have already exhausted their resources especially against the background when Russia acts as a party in the conflict, instead of mediating.
Active and direct involvement of international community is necessary in the process of settlement of conflicts in Georgia, the Georgian Foreign Ministry said.
At the same time, the Georgian side reiterated readiness to hold a direct and result-oriented dialogue with the Abkhaz side to lay the foundation for a new framework for the conflict resolution.
