(civil.ge) - Georgian Foreign Minister Gela Bezhuashvili said on October 31 that reports about a clash in South Ossetia that led to the deaths of four armed Georgian men seem to be disinformation., reports Trend.
Somebody is trying to stir up tensions in the region, and disseminating disinformation has become a widespread practice recently. I can only reiterate that [such tensions] are not in our interests. We intend to settle the problems peacefully. Today we have all of the potential for this, including on the international arena. Naturally, we want Russia to become one of the positive players in the resolution of conflicts, Bezhuashvili said prior to his departure to Moscow on October 31.
