(civil) - Estonia will contribute to peacekeeping operations in the Georgia's conflict zones if the current peacekeeping formats are changed, Estonia's Foreign Minister Urmas Paet said at a news conference in Tbilisi after talks with his Georgian counterpart Gela Bezhuashvili on December 18.
He said that Estonia wants to see a really adequate international format for peacekeeping operations, reports Trend.
And we are working on this issue with our partners in the European Union... I cannot imagine Estonians not participating in this mission. Estonians of course will also be present here, when this format of peacekeeping forces will be changed, Urmas Paet said.
