(osce) - A publication that compiles the Georgian Supreme Court's interpretations of criminal, civil and administrative law will be launched in Tbilisi tomorrow.
The local NGO Union for Human Development created the compilation with support from the OSCE Mission to Georgia. The publication includes interpretations of legislative norms and circumstances found in Supreme Court rulings adopted in 2005-2006. The information is presented in thematic order, reports Trend.
The book will be distributed to judges, legal institutes and libraries, as well as other legal professionals and experts. It will also be available on the Internet.
The publication was created as part of the OSCE Mission's efforts to promote judicial reform, particularly the establishment of a unified judicial practice in courts of general jurisdiction.
