Delegation of Georgia's justice ministry gets familiar with penitentiary system in Britain

(Prime-News) вЂ" Delegation of the Justice Ministry of Georgia, headed by Givi Mikanadze, Deputy Justice Minister, is payin a visit to the United Kingdom.

Prime-News was told at the Ministry of Justice of Georgia that the goal of the visit, sponsored by the Council of Europe, is to share experience in case of security and management of penitentiary system, reports Trend.

Georgian delegation is comprised of: Gia Arsoshvili, head of the Department of Penitentiary System Reform, Monitoring and Medical Supervision, Koba Glonti, director of Training Center for Penitentiary and Probation Service, directors of в"-2 and в"-6 Rustavi and в"-2 Kutaisi prisons.

The delegation will hold meetings in the Prison Service of the UK and survey several detention facilities.
