Georgia's president visited Georgian-south Ossetian conflict zone

(www.primenewsonline.com) вЂ" Mikheil Saakashvili, president of Georgia, visited Georgian-South Ossetian conflict zone on Monday.

The president visited secondary school in Kurta village and attended history lesson there.

Mikheil Saakashvili told pupils of the school about historic friendship between Georgian and Ossetian nations, reports Trend.

President of Georgia visited local government, where the population of the conflict zone was granted GEL 100 to each family.

Mikheil Saakashvili also visited the village Tamarasheni, where he attended ceremony on launching of installation of streetlight.

At the meeting with local population Mikheil Saakashvili stated that about 1000 people should employed in Liakhvi Gorge till November 23. It is also planned to build sports palace, culture center and sports playgrounds in the zone.
