17:48 (GMT+3) The police cordoned off the blast area in the Turkish city of Izmir, NTV channel reported Jan. 5.
According to the witnesses, the explosion occurred at 16:10 (GMT+3).
At least three people died, DHA agency reported.
17:33 (GMT+3) Two car bombs exploded in front of the courthouse in the Turkish city of Izmir, Turkish Hurriyet newspaper reported Jan. 5.
According to the newspaper, the rescuers and police officers were sent to the scene.
