Turkey decreases chemicals export to world markets

Turkey's export of chemical products to world markets dropped by 5.1 percent and amounted to $4.7 billion from January 2020 through March 2020, Trend reports with reference to the Turkish Trade Ministry.

From January through February 2020, Turkey's export of chemical products to world markets amounted to 11.1 percent of the country’s total export.

In March 2020, Turkey's export of chemical products to world markets amounted to $1.5 billion, which is 15.4 percent less compared to March 2019.

Meanwhile, Turkey's export of chemicals amounted to 11.6 percent of country’s total export.

Turkey’s export of chemical products amounted to $20.6 billion from February 2019 through February 2020.

From March 2019 through March 2020, Turkey's export of chemical products to world markets amounted to $20.3 billion.

Turkey’s foreign trade turnover in February 2020 exceeded $32.2 billion.

In February 2020, export from Turkey increased by 2.3 percent compared to February 2019, exceeding $14.6 billion.

Turkey's import increased by 9.8 percent in February 2020 compared to the same month of 2019 and exceeded $17.6 billion.

From January through February 2020, Turkey’s trade turnover exceeded $66.1 billion.
