The 4th edition of Art Dubai is slated to exhibit artworks from over 60 emerging and established contemporary galleries around the globe, Press TV reported.

The selected galleries are from some 30 countries and include art galleries from Paris, Hamburg, Beijing, Berlin, Los Angeles, Mexico City, London and Santiago.

The 2010 Art Dubai will also provide a new area to showcase high quality paintings and sculptures from the 1950s to 1970s, Artdaily reported.

Van Cleef & Arpels will also hold an exclusive exhibition on the occasion of the publication of its new book, The Poetry of Time, presenting almost a century of watch making creations.

The 2010 Art Dubai, to open on March 17, will also provide architectural tours, artistic performances, discussion sessions and film screenings in Beirut, Amman, Damascus and the United Arab Emirates.

One of the most significant art venues in the region, Art Dubai attracts thousands of visitors from across the world, especially the Middle East and East Asia.

The 2009 edition of the event hosted over 14,000 art lovers including leading curators, museum directors, artists and museum groups.
