Yemeni forces kill 10 rebels in Saada: report

Yemeni forces have killed 10 Shiite rebels, known as the Houthis, in crackdowns against suspected rebel hideouts in the northern province of Saada, ruling party's website, al-Motamar, reported Friday.
According to the report, five of the rebel fatalities were disguised in military uniforms, Xinhua reported.
Among those killed were also leaders Abu al-Shadid and Abu Hadi, the report added. The operations also left several rebels injured. Yet, the report did not give the exact number of casualties among the Houthis.
Clashes between Yemeni forces and the Shiite rebels entered the sixth month with Sanaa going ahead with its all-out offensive, dubbed "Operation Scorched Earth", against the rebels who it says seek to re-establish the clerical rule ended by the 1962 revolution that yielded the Yemeni republic.
