Two killed in Yemen blast: ministry
Two people were killed while two others wounded in a huge explosion that rocked a house in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa as police found 25,000 detonators inside the house, the Interior Ministry said on Tuesday, Xinhua reported.
The incident took place late Monday in a three-storey house in Sanaa, the ministry said in a statement on its website.
Police forces rushed to the scene and found 25,000 detonators, which had not exploded yet, as the blast has destroyed large parts of it, said the statement.
The ministry said the explosion was probably caused by the friction of the large amount of detonators stored in the second floor of the house as further investigation was underway.
