Iran's Ambassador to Lebanon Ghazanfar Roknabadi stated that Iran is ready to help the Lebanese armed forces, IRNA reported.
Roknabadi made the remarks in his meeting with Commander of the Armed Forces of Lebanon General Jean Kahwagi.
Roknabadi said Iran is ready to provide the help in response to a request made by Lebanese President Michel Suleiman to equip the country's army.
During the meeting, the two sides focused on the latest developments in Lebanon, the recent Israeli aggression against the Lebanese territory in particular.
