Nine killed in separate Iraq attacks
Separate attacks across and outside the Iraqi capital of Baghdad have reportedly killed nine people and injured at least 20 others, Press TV reported.
On Sunday, gunmen shot and killed three people south of the capital in Babil province before fleeing away in their vehicle, AFP reported.
Meanwhile, an explosive attack hit a minibus traveling through Baghdad, claiming the lives of three others, while another bomb left a traffic policeman and a civilian dead in the east of the city.
Another man was killed and seven others wounded when three roadside bombs went off in northern Baghdad.
Iraqi civilians continue to bear the brunt of violence in the eighth year of the United States military presence in the war-weary country.
