Experts in Yemen are investigating "more suspicious parcels that were going to be sent out of the country, including some intended for the United States," a security source said Saturday.
The probe comes a day after two packages containing explosive materials were found on US-bound cargo flights at airports in Britain and Dubai.
The packages had originated in Yemen, the operating base of al- Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, and both were addressed to synagogues in Chicago.
The packages were transported by UPS and FedEx, whose offices in the Yemeni capital were helping with the investigation, a source at the airport told the German press Agency dpa.
