Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohammad Bagir Behrami congratulated the Azerbaijani people on the holy Gurban holiday today.
Bahrami expressed his satisfaction with having the honor to express his best wishes to the brotherly people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of Gurban, which is a "great Islamic holiday bringing the hearts of Muslims around the world closer," he said.
"It is a pleasant coincidence that Gurban coincides with the Iranian president's visit to Azerbaijan," he said. "I hope that the historical ties and friendly relations between our two countries will further develop and become stronger on the basis of this pleasant coincidence."
