At least 15 people were killed and more than 20 injured after a car bomb struck a religious procession in north-western Yemen on Wednesday, tribal sources said, DPA reported.
The sources said the victims were all followers of the Shiite rebel al-Houthi group.
Witnesses said the car exploded as a convoy carrying dozens of Shiite men was driving to a mountainous district in the north-western province of al-Jawf to attend a Shiite religious ritual called al-Ghadeer.
