A chartered plane carrying 275 Chinese nationals, who were evacuated from Libya, departed from the Egyptian capital in the wee hours Saturday and headed for Beijing, according to the Chinese embassy here, Xinhua reported.
The Egyptian aircraft was chartered by the Chinese government, said Chinese Ambassador to Egypt Song Aiguo.
