Former interior minister denies rejoining Gaddafi government
Former Libyan interior minister Abdel Fatah Younis denied on Saturday a report by Libyan state television that he had rejoined leader Moamer Gaddafi's government, dpa reported.
Younis told Al Arabiya broadcaster the report was part of the lies aimed at misinforming people and a media war against the rebels.
Libyan state television had said that Younis had been reappointed as interior minister.
Younis is in charge of the armed operations of the national council formed by rebels in the eastern city of Benghazi.
