Secretary General of Lower House of Parliament of Jordan Fayez Shawabka on Monday met Assistant Undersecretary at the Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs' office in Kuwait, Ahmad Barrak and the accompanying delegation, state-run Petra news agency reported.
During the meeting, Shawabka highlighted the history of parliamentary life in Jordan , the nature of work of the Senate and the House of Representatives and the relationship between them.
Shawabka also explained the nature of the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs' work and its coordinating role between the government and parliament .
Parliamentary relations between Jordan and the Kuwait are very distinctive and the Secretariat General of the House is ready to offer its expertise to the Kuwaiti side, Shawabka added.
