Two blasts in southern Lebanon Wednesday were not linked to any "terrorist attack," Interior Minister Marwan Charbel said, dpa reported.
"The two blasts are not linked to security. They are the result of opposition to liquor trade," Charbel told the Voice of Lebanon radio station.
While alcohol is widely available in Lebanon, it is banned in areas under the control of the Shiite Lebanese movement Hezbollah and extremist Sunni movements.
