Two protesters were killed on Sunday in the northern Egyptian city of Alexandria when snipers fired live ammunition on demonstrators, state-run Al Ahram newspaper reported on its website.
The report quoted witnesses as saying that police forces were also throwing tear gas canisters at protesters, who gathered in front of the Security Directorate of Alexandria, dpa reported.
