Egypt's ex-President Hosni Mubarak arrived in the Cairo Criminal Court at the Police Academy for trial on Wednesday over charges of corruption and killing of protestors, Xinhua reported.

Mubarak, his two sons Alaa and Gamal, former Interior Minister Habib el-Adli and six of his aides will resume their trial at the Police Academy premises, after a three-month break because some lawyers for the families of the dead in protests demanded to change Ahmed Refaat, the top judge in the case of Mubarak. But their appeal was recently rejected.

State media reported Wednesday Mubarak's defense team said they would reveal the third party that opened fire at demonstrators.

Mubarak's wife Suzanne Thabet, the wives of the two sons, visited Alaa and Gamal on Tuesday who have been held in the Tora Prison in southern Cairo.

Mubarak and his two sons have appeared in court for several times since their trial began on Aug. 3, on charges of corruption and ordering the killing of protestors, which they denied. Head of the ruling Supreme Council of the Armed Forces Hussein Tantawi and former vice president Omar Suleiman had testified in the previous sessions.
