Some neighboring countries, particularly Iran and Iraq, are arming the Syrian military to continue the fight with the opposition, one of the leaders of the Syrian opposition, who wished to remain anonymous, told Trend on Saturday.

According to the source, the authorities themselves organize terrorist attacks in the cities of Syria, to blame the opposition.

"It is a well-planned information war of Syrian government against the opposition," he said.

Approximately 40,000 senior Syrian militaries announced the move to the side of Free Syrian Army, he said.

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdullahyan said on Saturday that Iran condemns killing of civilians in Syria, and said some countries that supply weapons to Syria and support terrorist groups, are responsible for the deaths of innocent people.

The number of Syrian refugees in Turkey amounted to more than 25,000 people.

There is a fragile truce in Syria between the Free Syrian Army the armed wing of the opposition and government forces, established under the plan of special envoy of the Joint Special Envoy of the United Nations and the League of Arab States, Kofi Annan.

Syria has been covered by anti-government speeches for more than year resulting in violent clashes. According to UN figures, the total number of victims in the country exceeds 9000. In its turn, the Syrian authorities say the number of those killed in clashes were over 2000soldiers and police officers against whom there are well-armed militants.
