On Monday, three Iranian citizens were kidnapped in Syria, ISNA agency quotes Iran's charge d'affaires in Syria, Abbas Golru, as saying.
Iranians Murtaza Adili, Hussein Ali Nejad and Ismail Mohammed Zeynali, who worked as drivers in a transport company, crossed the Syrian border on Monday, May 21, and were kidnapped by armed men.
According to Golru, the Embassy has repeatedly warned the Iranian transport companies about danger of cargo transportation to Syria, but some firms have ignored the message.
