The UN Security Council on July 25 extended its mission in Iraq for another year.
The council called on Baghdad to continue to provide security and logistical support to the UN Mission in Iraq (UNAMI), which has been tasked with assisting the government as it has assumed responsibility for security and economic development following the withdrawal of US troops dpa reported.
