Free Syrian Army: Iranian plans related to Syria not to become reality

Plans of Iran and other supporters of Assad regime will not be realized, the general of the Free Syrian Army, who asked to remain anonymous, said in a video, passed to Al-Jazeera TV channel on Monday.
The general said 48 Iranian citizens, who were detained earlier in Syria, are members of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps.
Earlier 48 Iranians were detained by the representatives of the Free Syrian army in the vicinity of Damascus. The Syrian authorities have reported that it wasn't Iranian soldiers, but Shiite pilgrims.
Iran also denies all the statements that detained Iranians are members of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps.
According to the deputy Iranian foreign minister for Arab and African countries Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, plan to seize Iranian pilgrims was designed by the Syrian opposition in advance.
According to UN, the total number of victims of the conflict in Syria has exceeded 17,000 people. About 230,000 people became refugees. About three million people is in need of humanitarian assistance. The Syrian authorities say that they oppose the well-armed militants.
