Syrian rebels carry out "tactical withdrawal" in the south

Syrian rebels carried out Tuesday a "tactical withdrawal" from areas in the southern province of Daraa following heavy shelling on the area, activists told dpa.
"Government forces heavily shelled the area of al-Harak for the past 24 hours, but this morning they stormed areas on the outskirts of the village, forcing our rebels to retreat, as they were low on ammunitions," Abu Ahmad al-Hourani, a Free Syrian Army member said.
