The UN Security Council on Friday condemned the attacks on Western embassies in Muslim countries and called on governments in the region to honour their obligations to protect diplomatic missions and staff, dpa reported.
The US embassy in Tunis was stormed Friday, while the German and British embassies were attacked in Khartoum, Sudan.
The Security Council on Wednesday condemned Tuesday's assault on the US consulate in Benghazi, Libya, that killed four Americans including the ambassador.
