Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood and Islamist allies will hold a planned Saturday rally in support of President Mohammed Morsi's recent decrees outside Cairo University instead of in Tahrir Square, the Brotherhood announced on its website Thursday evening, dpa reported.
The move averts fears of a confrontation with anti-Morsi protesters who have been camped in Tahrir since last Friday.
