Hamas and Fatah officials will meet in Cairo on Thursday to discuss national reconciliation, a Fatah official said Wednesday Maan reported.
Azzam al-Ahmad told Ma'an that the meeting was supposed to be held on Wednesday but was delayed for technical reasons.
The meeting will discuss a timetable for implementing agreed reconciliation measures, the work of the elections committee, and a date for the freedom committee and the social reconciliation committee to start work.
A date will also be set in Cairo for a PLO meeting next month.
President Mahmoud Abbas of Fatah and Khaled Mashaal of Hamas met face-to-face in Cairo last Wednesday, for the first time in over a year.
They also met separately with Egyptian President Muhammad Mursi, and an Egyptian official said the leaders agreed to implement the Egyptian-sponsored deal from 2011.
The two sides have so far failed to put the deal into practice to reunify Palestine's leadership.
