Tens of people were delivered to hospital with different severe injuries, NEWSRU reports. The explosion occurred at 10:00a.m. The LBC channel reports that the mine-strewn automobile with 40kg of explosive was blown up.
The Qatar Al-Jazir channel reports that the aim of the terror act was the high-ranking officers of Lithuanian Security bodies. Vasam Id, an officer of Lithuanian research centre, and several militaries died as a result of the explosion.
