Official Cairo Struggle against terrorists from Gaza sector – Al-Ahram Newspaper

Israel, Jerusalem, 30 January / Trend corr. R.Abdullayev / The Egyptian security forces detained a group of terrorists out of five Palestinians in the Sinai Peninsula. MIGNEWS reported referring to Al-Ahram newspaper, that suicide bomber belt envisaged to commit terror acts on the territory of Israel was revealed.

The newspaper reported that the Egyptian Authorities set the deadline for all Palestinians who violated the border in the Rafiaha region and they have to return to Gaza sector to the beginning of the next week. In the other case, the trespassers will be persuaded juridically. According to Egyptian officials, about 10,000 Palestinians are still remaining on the territory of the Sinai Peninsula.

Al-Ahram reported that Egyptian officials also arrested another terrorist gang. The gang had a map which included exact information about dislocation of Israeli army in the frontier line and number of soldiers in each military unit.

Palestinians proposed huge money sum to the Egyptian frontier guards to permit them to transport the lorries via the Gaza sector border.

Within the mentioned period Egyptian officials detained more than 100 Palestinian militants. The most detainees were returned to Gaza sector after seizing of their guns. In spite of the fact, HAMAS managed to transport tons of weapons and explosives to Gaza sector.

Egyptian officials put forward an ultimatum to HAMAS demanding arrest of militants from Gaza, who came to Egypt. In its turn, Palestinian Security officials in Ramalla reported that about 300 out of 500 militants of HAMAS and Islamic Jihad refused from returning back to Gaza sector. The Palestinian officials consider that they will attempt to find a shelter among Bedouin tribes and Egyptian families on the territory of Sinai Peninsula.
