An Israeli military helicopter with seven soldiers on board crashed in the Carpathian Mountains in Romania on Monday, Romanian television station Realitatea reported.
It was not yet known if there were any survivors. The seven on board - six Israeli soldiers, and one Romanian - were taking part in a military exercise, dpa reported.
The scene of the crash, near to the city of Brasov, was difficult to access because of the mountainous landscape.
